1. Who we are (Data Controller)

2. What we collect
Nothing. Crispel does not collect personal data to function. Specifically:
- No account is required. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or ID.
- Your documents, scans, text, and converted files are stored only on your device.
- We use no usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location tracking, or third-party trackers.
- We operate no servers; your data never reaches us.
3. On-device processing
Scanning, edge detection, text recognition (OCR), PDF tools, Word/Excel conversion, and AI features (summarize, translate; via Apple Intelligence) all run entirely on your device. Your documents are not sent to the internet for these features.
4. The one exception: "Web page → PDF"
Only when you type a web address and choose to convert it to a PDF does the app load that address directly from the relevant website. That request goes to the site you chose; Crispel does not see, store, or transmit the address or its contents to us. If you don’t use this tool, the app makes no network requests at all.
5. Crash logs
If the app closes unexpectedly, a local diagnostic log may be written on your device. It is never sent automatically, and potentially sensitive text is redacted. You may choose to share it with support; otherwise it stays on your device and is removed when you clear the app’s data.

7. Purchases
If you buy a paid feature, payment is handled by Apple’s App Store. We never see or store your payment details; that process is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
8. Legal basis & your rights (GDPR)
Because we process no personal data, there is no data for us to access, rectify, erase, port, or restrict. All data on your device is under your control — delete it inside the app or remove the app to erase everything. You may still contact us with any GDPR request, including a complaint to your local supervisory authority.
9. Children’s privacy
Crispel does not knowingly collect data from children — it collects data from no one.
10. Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll post it here and change the "last updated" date.
